2nd July 2020
Following the recent lifting of restrictions from the Government, you will be aware that we are now allowed to reopen on 4th July.
In readiness for reopening, we can confirm that we have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment to comply with government guidelines and the safety of staff and owners.
What to expect onsite now/ Improvements carried out
We ask that all park users follow the rules and guidelines issued by the government whilst staying on Wrights Seadale Caravan Camp. Failure to comply with the fair and reasonable rules may be in breach of the owner and camp agreement.
We also ask for you to show consideration for the local community and to respect social distancing in all contacts in and outside of the camp. Local relationships and the Filey community are important to us and some are understandably apprehensive about the potential impacts of returning visitors; they will need reassurance demonstrated by your thoughtfulness around COVID-19 and social distancing.
Should you rent your caravan out, you are to ensure you have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and supply Wrights Seadale Management with the contact details of those guests. We do remind you that an annual gas safety check is your responsibility on rented caravans.
Availability of local shops/facilities/takeaways etc.
The majority of local shops and facilities are now open, with social distancing rules in place e.g. theren is one way system in Tescos. Deliveries are available from most of the takeaways in the area however, we suggest you check this and timings so not to be disappointed.
Water - Flush through water systems to clear out stagnant water, especially shower heads which should be held away from the face to avoid inhaling spray.
Waste disposal – double bagging is advisable along with washing hands after touching the site bins.
On returning to Wrights Seadale Caravan Camp, we ask for your compliance with the above rules to allow the camp to reopen safely. You should not travel to the site if you or anyone in your household have COVID-19 symptoms. Should anyone develop COVID-19 symptoms during or after your stay here, please ensure to contact us immediately.
The guidance from the Government regarding COVID-19 is forever changing, and we will be constantly assessing what changes need to be made to continue complying with regulations and to keep ourselves and owners safe. Should you have any queries on the above detail, please do not hesitate to call Nigal on 07855 535601. You can also find the above information on our Website www.seadalecaravancamp.co.uk
Many thanks and we look forward to seeing you.
